Learn About Little Leaves Reopening Safety Plans

Little Leaves is committed to providing the safest possible environment for the communities we serve. The return to in-center services will certainly look and feel different, but we are ready to open.

We are working with our staff and parents and following recommended Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to ensure a safe reopening. Working together, we have created universal measures for each of our Centers. The following health and safety protocols have been established in all our Centers:

• Clients and staff will remain in small “pods” throughout the day, which will limit the number of people in close contact with one another

• Little Leaves employees will continue to undergo daily health screens before going to work

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to all our employees

• Masks are mandatory for Little Leaves employees regardless of State or Local guidelines

• Physical distancing measures will be followed based on CDC and local guidelines

• Our centers are currently closed to all non-essential employees and visitors. Any visitors (e.g., families, service providers) entering the building will be required to complete a health screen, wear a mask, practice physical distancing, and follow safety protocols

• Staff and clients will clean their hands (i.e., hand washing, hand sanitizing) at least hourly throughout the day

• High-touch surfaces in individual therapy spaces and communal areas will be sanitized frequently throughout the day

• Sharing of materials will be minimized

• Training will be provided to all staff

• Clinical programming will be updated as necessary to ensure all health and safety practices are followed (e.g., teaching hand hygiene, social distancing)

• Signage promoting healthy-hygiene best practices will be posted in all centers

We view these safety measures as critical for ensuring safe environments for our children, families and staff.

Our teams remain flexible and responsive to the needs of our families, and we are prepared to work with you however we can in order to meet these needs.
