ABA Therapy Center – Weston, FL

At Little Leaves, our center-based ABA program is for young children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and is run in a preschool-like setting. It is designed for children up to age 6 who have been recommended for intensive ABA services. Each client works one-on-one with a trained behavior technician on individualized goals with a focus on social communication, social interactions, and school readiness skills. During the day, children have the opportunity to participate in individual therapy time, small group activities with peers, and activities of daily living. While many clients are at our centers for the full day, an individualized schedule is developed for each child based on his/her therapeutic needs.

Brittany Lazor

Brittney Lazor, M.A., BCBA, LBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst who has been working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities for nearly 10 years. Prior to becoming a Supervising Behavior Analyst, she was a Behavior Specialist at Little Leaves, a research assistant at Towson University’s Cognitive Development Lab, and an intern on the Neurobehavioral Unit (outpatient and inpatient) at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Brittney earned her M.A. in Applied Developmental Psychology from George Mason University, where she specialized in Atypical Development and Behavior Interventions. She is a member of the Maryland Association of Behavior Analysis, the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis, and the Association for Behavior Analysis International. Her research has been presented at regional conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Carlos Lopez

Carlos Lopez, M.S., BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 10 years of experience working alongside children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Previous experience includes providing services in home, school, residential, and clinic settings. Prior to joining Little Leaves, Carlos worked as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) on the New England Center for Children’s Intensive Treatment Team, and formerly the Florida Autism Center of Gainesville where he also assisted in research studies conducted by the Behavior Analysis Research Clinic of the University of Florida. Carlos obtained his B.S. in Psychology from Florida International University, completed graduate coursework at Florida Institute of Technology, and earned his M.S. from Western Connecticut State University.

Allison Lopez, M.S., BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 6 years of experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Allison obtained her B.S. in Psychology from Florida International University and earned her M.S. in Counseling with a concentration in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to becoming a Supervising Behavior Analyst, Allison worked as a Behavior Specialist at Little Leaves as well as a RBT in home, school, and clinic settings.

Lucy Amaya

Lucy Amaya, RBT is currently a Registered Behavior Technician with an M.S. in Special Education (ABA focus) from Arizona State University and pursuing national certification in the field. Lucy has worked as an RBT with Little Leaves for a year now and has experience of working with elementary-aged children for over 8 years. She earned her B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Child Development from Florida State University. What she enjoys the most about working with children is seeing them build self-confidence and grow more curious about the world around them.

Isabella Lanz, RBT is currently a Registered Behavior Technician pursuing national certification in the field. Isabella has worked as an RBT for 3 years now and has experience working with children with developmental disabilities in the home, school, and clinic settings. She earned her B.S. in Psychology and minor in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. She is currently enrolled and pursuing an M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Florida Institute of Technology. Her favorite thing about working with kids is seeing them grow and do things that they have never done before.

Alemy Barreto, RBT is a Registered Behavior Technician and is pursing national certification in the field. Before her current role, she worked with Little Leaves as a behavior technician in their center-based program. She has experience working with children with developmental disabilities in the home and clinic setting. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Marist College and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Florida Institute of Technology. Her favorite thing about working with kids is witnessing their development and growth!

Alexis Rodrigues, RBT is currently a Registered Behavior Technician pursuing national certification in the field. Alexis has worked as an RBT for 2 years now and has experience working with children with developmental disabilities clinic settings and she earned her B.S. in Psychology. She is currently enrolled and pursuing an M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Florida Institute of Technology. Her favorite thing about working with kids is teaching them new skills and seeing them grow.

Ashley-Marie Black, RBT is a registered behavior technician and has been with Little Leaves since 2021. Ashley earned her B.A. in Psychology at the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Behavior Analysis Practice at the Florida Institute of Technology. Her favorite thing about working with the kids is seeing them progress in their development.
