Each webinar will be hosted by Dr. Amrita Singh and Dr. Rebeca Evora for NSU and facilitated by our Regional Director, Dr. Lisa Guerrero.

All webinars start a noon EST and last 1 hour.

This workshop provides an overview of autism spectrum disorder (ASD),
identifies the early signs of autism, myths about ASD, and discusses the role of community providers for observing red flags in children.

Girls on the Spectrum is an informative workshop designed to highlight how autism can present differently in girls. Participants will gain insight into identification, support strategies, and strengths-based approaches to help girls succeed across home, school, and community settings.

This workshop discusses the trajectory of autism symptoms from birth to
adulthood. The different stages of the life of an individual with autism (e.g., diagnosis process, special education process, independent living) will be explored as well as its impact on the family unit.

This workshop will discuss stress management tools that parents can
utilize to decrease anxiety and to foster parent-child bond.
