If your child is at home and requires an in-home ABA program, we will work with your family to design a schedule that meets the therapeutic needs of your child and the logistics of your family, and best facilitates the implementation of his/her treatment plan. Treatment plans may focus on increasing social-communication skills, decreasing unwanted behaviors, and increasing independence in daily living skills. If peer interactions are important for your child’s therapeutic goals, we will work with you to explore options such as play dates, group activities, preschools, or center based programs.

For home based services, a caregiver (parent, nanny, etc.) must be present in the home at all times. If your child is in daycare, preschool, or another private school setting, Little Leaves can work with your family and school to develop an individualized treatment plan based on the needs identified in our assessment.  Plans implemented in these settings may include one-to-one therapy in less distracting settings and/or one-to-one school shadowing within a classroom to develop school readiness and group learning skills.
